England’s Incredible Euro 2020 Squad Depth Shows Exactly Why They MUST Reach Final

Gareth Southgate is no doubt spoilt for choice with his England team selection after announcing his provisional squad for the upcoming Euro 2020.

Joining Jordan Pickford for a place between the sticks are none other than Dean Henderson, Sam Johnstone and Sheffield United shot-stopper Ramsdale.

Southgate has plenty of options for full-backs as Luke Shaw, Ben Chilwell and Bukayo Saka can all be deployed at left-back for England.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker and Reece James have all been named in the squad as potential right-back options.

Southgate can mix and match his centre-back pairing with six defenders called up, including Manchester United captain Harry Maguire and Manchester City star John Stones.

Alongside Maguire and Stones in the England squad are Tyrone Mings, White, Godfrey and Conor Coady.

Mason Mount, Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice, Kalvin Phillips, Jordan Henderson and James Ward-Prowse are among the six central midfield options at Southgate’s disposal.

England have strong attacking options to choose from, ranging from left and right wingers to forwards.

Three Lions skipper Harry Kane is currently backed up by the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Marcus Rashford and Ollie Watkins as forwards for England to call upon.

Phil Foden, Raheem Sterling, Jack Grealish, Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood and Jesse Lingard provide Southgate with questions as to who will be his first-choice wingers for the tournament.

England are in Group D alongside Scotland, Czech Republic and 2018 World Cup finalists Croatia.

The Three Lions begin their Euro 2020 campaign on 13th June against Croatia at Wembley before facing Scotland and then the Czech Republic.
